Science 9 and 10
Science in grades 9 and 10 are two of the most important courses in high school. They are a student's first introduction to core science topics, and they also help build the foundation that is required to succeed in future science courses. Our programs ensure that students leave these introductory courses with the fundamental skills required in future science courses, and also develop an interest and appreciation for the content so that students feel confident and excited about taking additional science courses.
Physics
For many students, Physics is the most challenging science in high school, as it combines complex concepts with very challenging questions and problems. These questions and problems are even more challenging than those in other sciences as they are very mathematical in nature, which students may find intimidating. Our Physics tutoring program is designed to give students the time and support needed to understand both the math and the science. Students will feel comfortable with both the theory and the problems, and will be able to move through Physics with confidence.
Chemistry
Chemistry can be a very interesting subject for many students, as it is in these courses that we first begin to learn how atoms and molecules interact, and why they interact in the ways that they do. Chemistry can also be one of the most challenging courses in high school as it requires students to navigate through many different, complex concepts. Our Chemistry tutoring program is specially designed to provide the support that students need to understand these difficult concepts.
Biology
Biology courses present many different and complicated biological systems that students need to understand in detail in order to succeed. Many students resort to memorizing these concepts, but the key to succeeding in Biology is not to memorize everything; rather, the key is to truly understand concepts. With this in mind, our biology tutoring program gives students the reinforcement that they need to truly understand these complicated biological concepts, and give students the tools that they need to succeed in their Biology courses.
